As usual, tabs are available at the Kpopalypse Patreon – free to all readers, whether you’re Patreon subscribers or not!

Note that some tabs are in widescreen format so if it looks messy as shit just expand your text box horizontally.  Some also aren’t too accurate – I only write down what I absolutely need to guide myself through the song as I record it, so I leave details out at times.  A few songs don’t have tabs at all, and that’s because I didn’t use any, I was able to play those songs from memory.

Partway through video-making I upgraded my webcam hence the newer videos are in widescreen with better quality.  Some of the newer videos also fix a video/audio sync problem, where the live bass part would be delayed by a fraction of a second.

Gear nerd stuff: the instruments used are a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (which replaces the Fender Player Series Jazz Bass I used in some of the part 1 videos), a Stingray Sterling Sub, and a Yamaha TRBX305 for the 5-string songs.  The amp is a Fender Rumble 40, all bass parts are recorded live in the room with the AT2020+ USB microphone, there is no “direct” bass sound because I couldn’t be bothered fucking around with that shit.  The aim of the videos is to show people how to play the songs, not blow them away with super-perfect bass tone and performances, and I deliberately play them exactly as the recording, with no improvising, in one take with no edits.  My playing on some of the “slappier” songs is honestly a bit scratchy as I’m still learning that, one of the reasons I started this channel in the first place was to improve my slap playing, which is gradually coming along!

Enjoy!
