It’s time for the second part of the Kpopalypse 2019 Objectification Survey results – this part is all about ass!  Who had the best male and female asses in k-pop?  Read on to find out!

The Kpopalypse 2019 Objectification Survey was an outstanding success, with more participation from the k-pop community than ever before!  Almost 900 people chose to cast a vote in this year’s survey, a truly amazing effort in mass objectification and depersonalisation of the idols we all love.

As per last year, voters were asked to choose up to three nominees in each category, best first.

• Your first choice was weighted 100% higher than your second choice
• Your second choice was weighted 66% higher than your third choice
• If you doubled or tripled on choices, only the first choice was counted
• Choices after the third were disregarded in all cases

Scores were then tallied to give the final results across all categories. Note that tallies this year were computer-counted by a very kind and dedicated caonima, saving Kpopalypse lots of work, but this also means that you needed to read the instructions and vote more accurately and properly than ever before or your vote did not count.

Remember folks – that if you object to any of the choices here, you only have yourselves to blame as these were 100% your votes, not mine.  Kpopalypse does not even cast a vote – these are NOT my picks but YOURS, and this isn’t like a rigged Korean TV show where the “judges” get a say and can overturn fan opinion.  If you want to see a certain result, then it’s your responsibility to spread the surveys to the people who are going to vote for your faves!

BEST FEMALE ASSES

#1 – NANCY – MOMOLAND

So far there’s been a consistent theme in the 2019 results – existing leaders from last year have all doubled-down strongly on their lead, and Momoland’s Nancy is no exception, smashing her own 2018 vote record and proving that she is k-pop’s reigning champion in the field of female ass.

#2 – MOMO – TWICE

Momo once again comes in at a distant second to the top contender, however she improved greatly on her 2018 placing, with many voters clicking “likey” despite a general lack of ass-friendly fanservice.

#3 – YEONWOO – MOMOLAND

In 2019 Momoland might not have had the same breakout hits, but in terms of objectification, it was certainly their year, with the girls moving up across all categories.

#4 – MINA – TWICE

Twice is nothing new in Kpopalypse objectification results, but what certainly is new is Mina’s presence in the top ten.  Mina might be struggling somewhat with mental health right now, but Twice fans didn’t show any anxiety about giving Mina their ass votes.

#5 – YOOHYEON – DREAMCATCHER

Dreamcatcher’s renewed 2019 activity and fetish-friendly clothes helped Yoohyeon retain her position, with only two points separating her and Mina for fourth place.  Just one more Asian Junkie reader voting would have been all it would have taken for her to move up to the coveted fourth spot – let that be a lesson to Dreamcatcher fansite Asian Junkie to link and share my surveys!

#6 – SEOLHYUN – AOA

Still charting well but plummeting hard from last year’s very commanding second place, Seolhyun’s ranking has suffered greatly mainly due to AOA not really doing anything much.

Meanwhile Hwasa moves up, probably due to Mamamoo being quite active over the last 12 months.

It’s taken a while for Seungyeon to finally be noticed by voters, but this year she streaks ahead into the top ten with ease, beating out several fan favourites.

The ass poll’s first new entrant, I’m not quite sure what it is Seulgi did to rocket up the charts this year, but she evidently left an impression doing so, beating out all other Red Velvet members to score a top ten placing.

Eunji owed her excellent 2018 placing to some serious fanservice, and there’s been less of that from her this year, but Kpopalypse readers knew that she was still packing enough glutes to get a firm poll result.  Even her own groupmates couldn’t stop looking!

The first big shake-up of the objectification survey results, Monsta X’s Wonho dethrones the three-time winner to become the first k-popper to outrank BTS’ Jimin in the ass category since 2016!  Maybe they’re not as big worldwide as BTS are, but Monsta X are certainly no nugus when it comes to being objectified!

Despite the extreme scandal of losing the top spot, our once-unassailable leader still polled a very respectable second place, on the back of lots of touring and tribal lycra spacesuits.

Not much movement in the upper tier of the male ass ranking as yet another contender maintains a solid placing from the previous year, despite Junho not doing all that much with his ass in 2019 except scratching it.

Just when the male charts were looking predictable as fuck, a wild Kyungsoo appeared!  What caused his meteoric rise from absolutely nowhere into the top ten?  I have no idea, he seems quite low on fanservice and finding decent quality fancams of him is difficult.  There’s no denying the keen fap-sense of Kpopalypse voters!
