Some great backings but not much going on over the top unfortunately.

Oh dear, what is this shit.

Some overblown 80s mid-tempo power ballad thing, it’s not any worse than Katy Perry or whatever bullshit.

Goodbye to you too, don’t come back.

If you can’t even think up a name for it maybe that’s a warning sign that you have no ideas and you probably should just scrap it.

Terrible trap stuff but at least it’s confined to its own song and isn’t shitting up some pop song.

Soyoung Um – Very Very Good

A moshing beat that isn’t given enough prominence.  Also could use a bit of double-kick.  Just a little oomph would have gotten this over the line.

Yang Da Il – Dreams

I have dreams that one day people stop making music like this.

When doing research for my most recent music theory post, I noticed that typing “white noise” into the YouTube search bar brought up a ton of ten-hour long white noise videos with really clickbaity titles.  So I thought I’d make my own.  Hopefully this video of “blackpinkwhite noise” helps you with achieving your life goals, or just getting a good night’s rest, but it probably won’t.
