This is just a quick post to say thank you to all Kpopalypse readers for making 2017 the most successful year on Kpopalypse blog ever!

The above graph shows the views received on Kpopalypse blog, year by year.  For a project that was purely born from a desire for personal expression and nothing more, I’m astonished at the size of the following this blog has now amassed.  Clearly I am doing something that resonates with a whole lot of readers.  Thank you sincerely to all readers from everywhere who continue to visit Kpopalypse blog from over 150 countries.

Also a special shout out to those of you who have kindly chosen to support Kpopalypse on Patreon, you know who you are and you also know that you don’t have to do this, right?  However the amount of funds that I receive from this method is enough to allow me to keep Kpopalypse completely ad-free and pay for hosting costs, and I am eternally grateful for this.  Thank you!

Of course not everybody was happy with Kpopalypse blog in 2017, and my posts not only entertained folks but also caused some concern and disgruntlement worldwide.  Know that Kpopalypse is always open to feedback via email, social networks or Qrimole, and while the aim of this blog is definitely not to please everybody, know that all correspondence is received and read!

Most of all know that Kpopalypse isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and while it is the nature of existence that all things come to an end eventually, I intend to keep blogging about k-pop as long as I have the ability to do so!  The final posts for 2017 on Kpopalypse blog will be my 30 favourites and 30 worst song lists for the year.  These will appear at the end of December 31st, my time, or maybe a few hours earlier if I slip and hit the “post” button ahead of time.  Kpopalypse will return with an improved image in 2018!
