Welcome to the first part of the Kpopalypse 2017 Objectification Survey results!  It’s time to find out what readers believe to be the best boobs and torso/abs in k-pop for 2017!

The 2017 Kpopalypse Objectification Survey used more categories and a new, more nuanced scoring system for greater objectification accuracy.  Respondents were asked to list three people in each category, in preference order with best first.  The scoring system was thus:

• Your first choice was weighted 100% higher than your second choice
• Your second choice was weighted 66% higher than your third choice
• If you doubled or tripled on choices, only the first choice was counted
• Choices after the third were disregarded in all cases

Scores were then tallied to give the final result across all categories.  The four results posts are as follows:

BEST FEMALE BOOBS

#1 – HYOSUNG – (EX) SECRET

Despite doing virtually nothing all year except a bunch of stupid press appearances, Hyosung once again walked away with the #1 trophy by a margin wider than the support straps on her Wonderbra.  Once again she easily scooped up more votes than the next two top contenders combined.  Will Hyosung ever be dethroned from the #1 position?  Perhaps not in the near future, but who’s complaining?  Not Kpopalypse, and probably not you either, judging by how you voted.

#2 – CHENG XIAO – WJSN/COSMIC GIRLS

The surprise chartbuster/brabuster this year was WJSN’s Cheng Xiao, who picked up only a measly three points in 2016’s survey!  This means that her 2017 score is approximately a 16566% improvement on last year’s performance!  A relative scarcity of fap material for this newcomer to k-pop didn’t stop many caonimas from appreciating her charms assets pearly volume FUCKING TITS and readers showed their gratitude by giving their voting preferences to Cheng Xiao over many old favourites.

#3 – CHOA – (EX) AOA

Choa waves goodbye to k-pop this year as she sadly (or maybe happily) leaves AOA due to mental health issues.  However her physical health has never been better, as her panoramic “Excuse Me” dance proved.

#4 – SUNNY – GIRLS’ GENERATION

Who could have imagined that Sunny would one day drop down to fourth position in a k-pop boobs poll?  Maybe it has something to do with the lack of recent fanservice, as I had to go all the way back to 2015 to find an acceptable quality fancam for this post.

#5 – JIHYO – TWICE

Another quick riser in the boob charts – as Twice’s fortunes in k-pop have increased, so has the profile of their bustiest members, who now have the exposure to compete with k-pop’s biggest veteran stars and come out on top.

#6 – YURA – GIRL’S DAY

Another veteran k-pop performer who hasn’t gotten out as much as one would have hoped lately, Yura slips a couple places this year as her star is gradually eclipsed in the fast-moving world of k-pop boobs.

Proof that boobs don’t have to be natural to be relevant to caonimas, Hyuna put in a relatively strong showing given that her group ruptured faster than saline bags on a flight with poor cabin pressure equalisation… but I’m sure Hyuna wouldn’t know anything about that.

Momo’s athletic figure was a big hit with Kpopalypse readers who upped the ante on Twice voting this year, pushing Momo firmly into the top ten.

All Sistar members took a noticeable dip in the polls this year as their group gradually wound up activities, but Soyou fared the best of the bunch, staying longest in the memories of Kpopalypse readers.

Yezi’s newfound fierce image impressed many but wasn’t enough to scare away boob appreciators from fapping vigorously.  Fiestar may never be an A-list group but Yezi proved that resting bitchface + boobs = a winning combination at least in the hearts, minds and genitals of Kpopalypse readers.

#11 – HYOMIN – T-ARA

Twin snakebites weren’t enough to keep Hyomin away from the thoughts of true k-pop boob appreciators for long, and 2017 saw a rejuvenated T-ara back on top once again, as if they had never left (which they hadn’t).  How many faps were had globally to her and Jiyeon’s “Trouble Maker” stage?

A woman who gets nowhere near enough media attention and definitely doesn’t perform live enough (note how old the fancam is, I couldn’t find anything even remotely recent), if the size of one’s chest was directly proportional to the amount of coverage one received in Korean pop media, Puer Kim would be this generation’s Madonna.  I personally would be okay with this.

It wouldn’t be a Kpopalypse survey if both genders weren’t objectified.  It may surprise you to know that Kpopalypse blog has more female readers than male readers, and even though they tend to vote a bit less, I feel that it’s still important to cater to them, as well as all the other LGBTQIZWGAPGNW types who may enjoy hunky man-meat.  Some people asked “why no best manboobs?” but that’s why this was “torso/abs” – manboobs is part of the package.

There’s no denying it – Kpopalypse readers are thirsty for man-meat, and who better to provide than the meatiest k-pop star of all, Shindong?  However he’s seemingly quite shy and bashful about his girth, as I couldn’t find any decent fancams that show any flesh, and I’m pretty sure that magazine cover’s abs are not even his own.  What a shame.  Feel free to pass me some better, more authentic pictures so I can share them with you all when he inevitably returns to the charts in 2018.
